Baths at Kamouraska

The Quebec Gazette, May 31, 1821 (Google Archives)

Wm [William] Croft thanks his friends and the general public for their encouragement since he opened his establishment at Kamouraska, and he can boast of serving them better than any other boarding house established in this location until now.
He has prepared rooms in his house for cold or hot baths which can be taken at any hour of the day with only a moment’s notice.
Refreshments will be ready at all times; cold ham, tea, coffee, etc. etc. etc.
The best wines and spirits will also be available.
