In fall, closing the shutters was a lengthy task that required help from local labourers who knew the summer residences and their capricious particularities well. 

Did you notice that the house’s Scottish-sounding name, Lochiel Cottage, can be read over the main entry? Today still, many summer places visibly sport the name given by their owners.
