The summer home of Lord Dufferin, Governor General of Canada from June 25, 1872, to October 19, 1878, can be found behind the chapel in Tadoussac. The cliff face offered a spectacular view of the bay of Tadoussac, the mouth of the Saguenay River and the St. Lawrence Estuary.
